Written by Meghna Khan,on Feb 28, 2021

Amid the COVID-19 lockdown, children & parents both are experiencing great worry due to exam-postponement and uncertainty with regards to the academic year coming to an end. Here are some tips to deal with the problem:

1. Major Concern for Students Across Various Academic Boards -
This situation will impact their admission to the universities of their choice and is it even a safe decision to go in the first place? I know that the anxiety levels are already shooting but it’s the time to remain calm, be positive and keep up the learning. IB has already declared the exams are cancelled and student will be awarded diploma or certificate based on their standard of coursework. CBSE, UK and other boards are also reviewing how they can accommodate the student benefits among this crisis in the best possible way for the them.

2. We Are All In The Same Boat -
The process will impact all the students, so it is very helpful to remember that you are not alone in this crisis.

3. Education Is A Two Way Process -
Universities and colleges are struggling as well with this sudden change in situation and are trying to adapt to it as fast as possible. Remember that as much as student need these colleges, the colleges needs them back as well.

4. Don’t Panic, Prepare Yourself -
Inspite of everything the amount of readiness and the hardwork required to enter these colleges and sustain there is not going to change which is why you need to keep on learning and make the most of this time.

5. There Is Always A Risk Factor -
Risk will not change no matter which university you go to but we expect more and more local admissions will happen.
